SMP Earth Is Done

prop announced the end of ASMP Earth, took a forced backup, released the 13 GB final world download and promised 'chumma' anarchy servers.

Event ASMP Earth 18 Oct 2023

ASMP Earth ended with an announcement. On 14 October 2023, prop was “bored”, asking what the next season should be: vanilla, or modpacks 1. Levi suggested skyblock. The same day prop posted the “Season Earth EOL announcement”, with the server due to end on 21 October at 08:30 2.

After goodbyes in game, he took a forced backup of the server, saying it would be the season’s world download unless anyone changed anything afterwards 3.

On 18 October he made it official: “SMP earth is done” 4. Until a good idea turned up, he would run “chumma” servers that held no significance, pure anarchy apart from hacking and lagging the server out, and the season’s Discord channels would be archived 5. On 22 October he shared the 13 GB final world download 6.
