On 27 October 2021 outsiders logged in on the friends' own accounts, blew up Veteran Base and used op rights to delete the recent backups.

The backup kira saved on the day outsiders griefed Season 1, posted the next day under a name borrowed from 2b2t.

prop's fake-player bots Technoblade and jeb_ joined, and prop slew both with Valkyrie III.

The day after the griefing, prop downloaded the ruined Season 1 world and streamed a damage tour while the friends worked out how it could have happened.

After the 2021-10-27 griefing Season 1 was kept off the internet, kira snapped at status checks, and the IP only changed on 3 December.

With Axolotl down, prop set up a budget Bedwars server and floated a short series SMP.

After the grief of 27 October 2021, kira briefly started the server to show what the Ledger rollback had failed to save.

After the server's progress was lost, prop and kira debated how and when to bring back the 7 October backup.

In the hours after the grief, the friends played detective, and GrimWatch pointed his finger at kira ("Timing is too good").

prop proposed banning Carpet-mod bots after the hack; kira said the griefers' use of them was no reason to ban them.

kira streamed his attempt to rescue the griefed world in VC and got it to "almost repairable", but the griefers' lava kept destroying everything.

On 7 November 2021 kira restored a 20-day-old backup after the grief. The damage vanished, and so did the factory, the farms and the netherite.

After the grief rollback, abi wanted his community witch farm restored. kira kept his veto, nYx ran the poll, and prop voted no.

abi, Suresh and Kart mined ancient debris to rebuild lost gear and traded ingots for diamonds.

prop invited everyone to switch on the Perimeter TNT machine on the Nether roof desert; the first rounds exposed a lava pool.

prop and Suresh flew a TNT machine through the Nether ceiling, clearing lava and finding diamonds, to widen the perimeter.

prop offered Kart a quadrant of the mega perimeter base, and four players set off to clear a huge desert, lava and all.

prop worried a server backup would wreck his TNT machine, and kira could not pause it.

Kart brewed shulkers of long splash fire resistance potions for the perimeter crew and declared the mission complete.

Kart spawned carpet bots and killed them again and again to farm player heads, which he crafted into creeper-face firework rockets.

Kart boated a trident drowned that died in the sun, while Suresh fought an iron golem and an elytra landing.

abi stepped through a portal into the wither skeleton farm and met fifty of them, and kira, Suresh and prop had to rescue his kit.

In November 2021 Kart and abi bred bees and built a honey farm on the nether roof to chase honey blocks, and learned that honey is slow.

For a day in November 2021 players swapped skins: nYx as Dream, abi as Grian, prop as a scorched survivor.

prop and abi taught Suresh to run the raid farm; he died to an evoker, then abi ran it for 600 emeralds in 15 minutes.

The nether-roof honey farm produced nothing, until prop checked the logs and found IRIS had killed the bees as "extra".

Kart accused IRIS of selling the netherite he had given him, and the row became a contest over who was richest.

kira briefly turned off the whitelist to add a new player, XZendrox, who promptly got elytra and a rescue.

prop, abi and Suresh got a guardian XP farm working on 16 November 2021, and promptly declared it theirs alone.

The Nether Roof honey farm overloaded and enraged bees poured out toward players.

Everyone drew up a mall design from a shared palette; prop's spiral-staircase plan won, and IRIS's themed shops did not.

In November 2021 kira wanted farms and the shop to stop being free-for-all, and he and prop drew up a mall and a new economy.

nYx and BotFragx showed off 1.18 snapshot ravines and cheese caves and wondered if the server could cope.

kira discovered that his gold farm had been quietly AFK-ed by three friends, and the server's anything-goes era met its first rule.

abi and Kart sold netherite ingots at 2 diamonds each, and a new currency called "paimonds" was born as a joke.

On 18 November 2021 prop shared a Hermitcraft-flavoured YouTube video on Veteran City as a "discord members only exclusive"; Kart soon reported 339 views.

prop found in the server logs that the October griefer had tried to log in as "Pillolo", then as "kira" and "Suresh".

prop taught abi the "og" item sorter and built a droppervator clock so bottles ran through the new End honey farm.

abi announced his honey shop in The End, and prop answered with a mock-griefing that briefly scared kira.

prop, abi and Suresh built an 800-block bridge and rail line from an End city to the gateway.

prop banned Kart from the Discord and deleted his account, but Kart restored it with one click and unbanned himself.

The group shared a giant Impulse/Scar top hat resource pack and took shader photos with pumpkin heads on the bridge.

prop suspected a trap at the meeting room, rocketed a thousand blocks to the Perimeter and hid the dragon egg.

prop finished a symmetrical cactus farm, the most pointless but pog-looking farm on the server.

abi, Kart and prop built a TNT perimeter machine that blew up, flooded with lava, and was finally declared ruined.

prop asked for an image-maps plugin to build mall blueprints; kira refused over lag and called a vote.

On 30 November 2021 kira bought a "did you die" box from Kart for 78 diamonds, which he called the biggest transaction in Axolotl SMP history.

prop whitelisted rj008; abi and prop promptly killed him three times, while nYx teased them for flexing.

Lost on the Nether roof, RJ flew until his rockets ran out and decided dying was the only way home, losing his gear.

After days of server lag, prop traced it to a backed-up iron farm at the Veteran Base and switched it off.

In 2023 prop finally explained why Kart's Season 1 argument that his hole of a base was historic did not hold up, using the L'Manberg ravine.

Alone on the server, prop finished two ilmango Perfect Furnace Arrays, 46 furnaces in all.

nYx organised parkour maps on prop's Aternos server, until Kart found an exploit.

abi accidentally started a raid near his base and kept dying until Kart arrived with iron golems.

After losing gear twice to the void, Kart rebuilt a maxed netherite set with abi's enchanting.

IRIS found three Notch apples in 20 minutes and planned a shop, to Kart's horror.

kira suspected Kart of taking shulker shells, then checked the logs and found he was the culprit himself.

When the Log4j exploit hit Minecraft chat, kira took the server offline, patched the startup script and switched off logging until a real fix arrived.

IRIS quit Minecraft, rejoined the Discord as a Watcher and split his riches, in what prop insists was cosmic ascension, not a creeper.

prop's farms-list struck out the Omega Cobblestone Factory, a lava farm and two super smelters as lost.

In December 2021, with the server back on its feet after The Fall, five players founded the Council of Axolotl to organise a server economy.

Kart built IRIS a shrine of netherite, gold and diamond, and IRIS's review was one word long.

With kira's blaze burners, prop finished a Create steam engine that produced 49k stress from three burners and ate kelp like a hungry dog.

kira and prop pushed the steam engine into "giga mode" at 147k stress, then grew a kelp-block store to keep it running for good.

prop went AFK in the cave base, came back to an enderman staring at him, and declared victory when it left.
