The Trident Exile

It began with abi dying to hoglins and surfacing in trouble: “i am stuck in ocean monumet” ¹. prop came to rescue him. Instead, he turned the rescue into a ceremony.

Seeing abi marooned, prop declared “you are now like tommy innit in exile” ² and, rather than lead him home, joined him in a voluntary exile with its own rules. The vow was that neither of them would return until each had a trident. Prop even assigned himself a job: “ig that is going to my exile mining place” ³.

Suresh turned up to help, killing the drowned that prop was farming for heads. The exile ended the next morning, when prop announced “i got 1 trident” ⁴ and dropped it so the pair could go home.
