ASMP Earth ran on Fabric 1.20.1 with Vanilla Tweaks datapacks, custom nether portals and a proposed Carpet Sky Additions fix for missing structures.

Curiosity ASMP Earth mod

ASMP Earth was a lightly modded world. prop confirmed in September 2023 that the server ran “Fabric 1.20.1”, with the mods listed in a channel for new players. 1 Most of the flavour came from datapacks borrowed from Vanilla Tweaks.

The July 2023 polls

On 21 July prop floated a “Too random” idea: the Custom Nether Portals datapack, which lets admins set a minimum and maximum size for portals, allowing complete creativity in portal shapes. 2 He installed it the next day, setting the minimum size to 4 and enabling crying obsidian frames. 3 4 A restart on 23 July applied it. 5

The same announcement added Fast Leaf Decay, Workstation Highlights, Name Colors and Armour Statues, a book for posing armor stands. 6

A second poll came the day after, a “GIANT” one about missing structures in the world. The proposed fix was the Carpet Sky Additions mod, built for skyblock so that every item stays obtainable, here covering things the map could not provide, like budding amethyst and hearts of the sea. 7 The chat does not show whether it was adopted.

Farms and a villager chart

Prop also pinned the Minecraft Elegance YouTube playlist of farm designs for everyone, 8 having earlier found what he called an “insanely useful villager chart for trading”. 9
