The Basalt Farm was prop’s basalt generator in the Nether, on the roof near the veteran portal. When he posted it to the screenshots channel on 27 September 2021 it came with a one-line label: “Basalt farm” 1.
It was a compact machine: a lined basalt generator with lava and blue ice, sitting next to a stepped white pyramid with a beacon beam on a basalt delta floor. Pictures show the farm from above and close up.
It earned its keep as a supplier. The farm supplied the basalt for the tunnel, and prop’s instructions were simply “go get basalt from basalt farm” 2; the follow-up was “with pick” 3, since the farm needs an Efficiency 5 pickaxe to harvest properly.
