Creeper Farm (Antarctica)

A huge gunpowder farm in the Antarctica region of ASMP Earth, built in September 2023 by RJ and IRIS, its spawn platforms lined with cats.

Place ASMP Earth farm

On ASMP Earth, IRIS opened a forum thread in mid-September 2023 for a gunpowder farm based on a YouTube design rated at over 12,000 an hour 1. The build went up in the Antarctica region (Antarctica), with a waypoint at 7161, 63, 4313, in the middle of water. RJ (as DumbassRJ) announced “BUILDING CREEPER FARM” on 21 September 2. iris (abishekishere in game) called for help the day before and helped build it too 3.

The special feature was the cats. The spawn platforms were lined with cat-occupied trapdoor spots, and iris worked out that the farm needed 48 cats 3 (bred and moved by the friends, see Cats for the Creeper Farm). The build also used slabs to keep spiders out and a trick that prop called “fake spawn spaces” 4, three-block gaps in the layout. RJ miscounted by one block at one point and had to correct it.

By 21 September 2023 it was running, and the readers recorded it as operating well even without its cats.
