The Giga Tree Farm, also called the Multi-Tree Farm, was prop’s automatic tree farm at his Antarctica base on ASMP Earth. It used the ianxofour design and handled every tree except dark oak and mangrove, plus nether trees and giant mushrooms. 1
prop reckoned it was “op as fuck” 2 and later called it the single best purely functional thing he had built on the server. 3 His proof was a big haul of wood from just a stack of bonemeal and 8 to 11 tiny fungi that he had grown. 4
Its trick is that it is configurable. By flipping a few levers, prop explained, it can be set for every overworld wood type except dark oak, cherry and mangrove. 5 In August he corrected anyone calling it a simple tree farm: it was “actually multi tree farm”. 6
The catch is appetite. The farm needs huge amounts of bonemeal, which is why the Bonemeal Farm was built nearby to feed it. prop also planned a fungus farm for nether wood.
