The Bastion Disaster

Sian died repeatedly at a bastion and lost his armour, elytra and netherite tools, keeping only a sword, pick, boots and a Pigstep disc.

Event ASMP S2 16 Jul 2022

On 16 July 2022, Emperor Sian went into a bastion and kept dying. The server relay logged it: first “slain by Piglin” 1, then “slain by Piglin Brute” 2, and the chat suggests the bastion also had a fully enchanted netherite piglin, which did the real damage. ntize was involved in the trip.

Sian’s tally of what he lost:

I lost the rest of my armor elytra netherite axe hoe shovel and silk touch pick

3 Two shulker boxes went too. What he kept fit in a few words:

I only got my sword pick and boots

4 and a Pigstep disc.

Compare the happier bastion trip of Bastion Raid in Season 3.
