'Communism prevails'

The early days of Create Together had no property law. On the morning of 22 June 2021 prop logged in to find “somebody is stealing my shit” ¹ and, worse, that Suresh had “just settled in my house” ². nYx arrived with the verdict: “Communism prevails” ³.

The argument spread through the morning. IRIS demanded to know who had taken his potatoes and replanted them elsewhere, since he was sure he was the only person with potatoes ⁴. kira had heard enough (“too much yammering”) and proposed that everyone “share” resources, on the condition that nobody steals: “tell n take or take n tell” ⁵.

IRIS agreed to share, in principle: “i share” ⁶. He gave iron, he said, but “not potatos” ⁷. When prop admitted that he had only taken the potatoes ⁸, IRIS explained that he did not give them away: “i sell them” ⁹. Prop wanted to know when he had ever said that.
