Every server needs someone to switch it on, and for most of the Axolotl years that someone was kira: the admin, the host, the keeper of the backups and, when the console needed a firm hand, the person who typed !console stop. In game he was _k1R4, later GlitchSabre, and when the machine behind it all had to be named, he called it axolotl.
The host
kira joined the Discord in June 2021 and was soon proposing an ISS-style megabase 1 and a dedicated box 2. On 18 June he announced “ok box has been setup” 3, and prop told the whole server that Create Together now had a proper 24/7 host on his Ubuntu machine 4. On 11 July he launched Season 1 under a “no rules” policy, policed by consensus, with admins free to overrule 5. He wrote the Discord bot behind .ip and .status, cheerfully admitting he had “ripped off grim’s bot” 6, and he installed Ledger with a friendly warning that theft would be seen 7.
Monument, gold and copper
His own base began as a drained ocean monument (“this is going to be the center of my base”) 8, chosen because only guardians spawn inside its bounds 9. He also claimed credit for the spot that became Veteran Base 10. Around it grew his empire: a gold farm and shop, 33 bees in 11 hives 11, and a drowned-copper farm that he announced with “poggers copper farm works” 12. He declared a gold monopoly 13 and then went after metal in general, proposing that he and prop “monopolize metal on the server” 14. His sword was named k1Slicer, and it is still used on friends today 15.
Keeping it alive
The admin job meant crises. When trolls used his and prop’s accounts to grief the server on 27 October 2021, he took “full responsibility” 16, traced the attackers to Italy by IP address 17, and spent days on rollbacks, vetoing favouritism along the way 18 19. See Aftermath of the 2021-10-27 Grief. On New Year’s Eve the server turned up on a public server list, and the answer was a login password system 20 (Griefers Return on New Year's Eve). He squeezed what he could out of an ancient Pentium 21 until he moved Axolotl to a new machine in March 2022 22.
Across the worlds
In Season 2 he pregenerated the world 23 and floated making the server VPN-only 24; the requirement arrived in February 2023 25. In Season 2.5 he built the kelp farm that fuelled the Create steam engine 26. Then in May 2023 he lost the latest backups, could offer only an old one, and handed management to prop 27 28.
In ASMP Earth he spoke for Cuba 29, claimed the USA 30, and flaunted a blinking lighthouse tree 31; prop once airdropped his lost plane over (Airdrop to Cuba).
During Limbo he returned to play and said “man i forgot how good mc feels” 32, then spelled out why Limbo failed 33. Through Season 3 and 4 he kept the panel, the RAM and the tunnels running 34 35, ran Tailscale via a headscale box 36, and earned prop’s title “the walking crash dummy” 37.
The wish
In March 2024, watching a video with prop and Fili, he said it outright: “I want back asmp season 1 with videos of this quality” 38. In October 2026 his axolotl box finally died 39, and days later an old backup surfaced and the original server reopened 40. He is back at his base of oxidized copper, warped nether wart and prismarine 41, where he wants his obliterated copper farm remembered 42.
