On 28 March 2024, once a VPN problem had been sorted (“is the vpn fixed yet?” 1), prop and kira played together on the modded ASMP Limbo server for the first time. The occasion was the Exposure Camera Mod, which kira had asked for (Server restart with Exposure camera mod).
prop crafted the camera (“time to make a camera” 2) and soon announced “camera aquired” 3. The server congratulated him on the Exposure advancement for using the camera to expose a film frame 4. The catch was that colour film needed gold nuggets, so for the day they were stuck with black-and-white, and each roll held only sixteen frames: “i can take total 16 pics” 5.
The chat suggests the expedition became a hunt for dye flowers, with CMYK jokes, and a wander through a flower forest full of bees, bee fields, a swamp and a huge cave. The pictures could not be seen until they were developed, which made every shot a small gamble. Along the way they found a stone pillar village, prop fell into the cave and spotted a flat patch for an MLG-water Nether portal, and at a lava pool kira built a portal of his own 6.
