The 1.21 update reached Axolotl SMP Season 3 at the start of July 2024, and on 2024-07-01 prop went looking for the new Trial Chambers. “see you on the trial chamber bois” he told the others 1, and soon the server announced his first advancement of the season: Minecraft: Trial(s) Edition, “Step foot in a Trial Chamber” 2.
He built himself an entrance, and on 2024-07-02 shared a waypoint for the entrance 3. nYx earned the same advancement shortly after 4, and prop explained the mechanics to him: the keys, the ominous trials, the cooldowns.
A planned 6 pm group run proved hard to organise. It slipped more than once, because of nYx’s Wi-Fi outage, a busy day, and kira’s commitments. In the meantime prop opened a vault, fell into the chamber and got lost, and collected some extra keys. The chamber itself was finally cleared a few days later; see First Trial Chamber Cleared.
