On 21 September 2021 prop announced he was streaming himself building a raid farm. 1 A mod showing Twitch chat in the game appeared in his screenshots, and he assured everyone it was “not hacked client”. Along the way he picked up the Ol’ Betsy crossbow advancement.
A few hours later: “raid farm doneeeeee”. 2 The headline number was the XP, at “13 - 22 levels in basically 15 seconds”. 3 The farm paid out in banners too. Prop was soon sitting on a pile of ominous banners (“way too much”) and crafting shields from them.
The next day he went big on the infrastructure. ProPlayerPlayz (prop’s other account) swore to make “the most elaborate storage system i posibbly can for raid farm”, 4 and a sorter plus giant storage for totems, emeralds and saddles followed. A chest of totems and milk went next to the portal for anyone who wanted to try the farm. 5
On 22 September he declared it finished: “Raid Farm Complete!!!” 6
Any overflow is “automaticly” thrown into lava, 7 and prop posted usage instructions, including a stern warning: “dont spam the lever it will break the system”. 8 There is a single safe exit, which exists so nobody forgets to flick the lever back.
The farm later reappears in the museum as a rebuilt, upgraded “omega” version, see The Raid Farm.
