On 31 May 2023 kira told the server he had to “nuke the server and set it up again” 1. Soon after he made an announcement that changed who ran things: “prop is now responsible for managing the server. I have given him complete access” 2.
nYx answered with a salute emoji 3. prop explained the arrangement in his own words, that he “had to take some load off of kira” 4.
Two days later it was still being explained. kira told people, “thambi prop only gonna do shit” 5, and prop told IRIS the point of it all, “so that people stop pinging him for minecraft” 6. He also confirmed that “all previous worlds are gone” 7, though kira still had the Create world backup.
The handover marked the start of the prop-run era. Within three weeks the next world, ASMP Earth Launches, went live.
