The Perimeter Squad Forms

On 10 November 2021, prop told Kart that he had “somehow managed” to become one of the most prominent participants in the shenanigans of prop, Suresh and abi, and so he would like to offer him “a quadrant” in the mega perimeter squad base. ¹ The squad was prop, IRIS, BotFragx (Suresh) and now Kart, four people for four quadrants. ²

The assignment was the clearing of The Perimeter, a huge area being cleared across a desert. The work came with lava. IRIS showed the long strip mine cut through the desert, filled with lava and ore, and Kart’s reaction was “whoa”.

Kart gave a more sober update on 13 November: it had taken the squad two days to do 2% of the perimeter. ^{3 4} His cheerful “HALF WAY DONEDE” a few hours later, however, was about his Genshin rank progress and not the perimeter.

Progress was real if slow, and prop soon reported that his section was down to a three-chunk gap with plenty of lava still to clear.
