Akshay 2.0 (and 3.0, and 4.0)

The zombified villager Sian named after Akshay, who kept dying to thunderstorms and thorns and kept being replaced by a newer version.

In July 2022 Emperor Sian zombified a villager and had to decide what to call it. “what to name him,” he asked, and settled the matter quickly: “i am naming him akshay 2.0”. 1 2 Akshay (Saitama) sponsored the name tag.

The new Akshay was fragile. Before the day was out Sian had to report “akshay 2.0 died”, killed by a thunderstorm and thorns. 3 Version 3.0 followed soon after, with a warning from Sian to keep his distance: “dont go near aksahy 3.0 with thorns”. 4 _eb (ntize) suggested building a grave.

The succession continued a week later. “rip akshay 3.0,” wrote _eb, 5 and Sian’s answer was an upgrade: “welp time to get akashay 4.0”. 6
