The Create season's mods shipped as a GitHub release prop called 'the most wrong way to use github', with its own version-numbering rules.

Curiosity Create S3 mod

For the Create season (Axolotl Create Season 3), prop solved mod distribution with a GitHub repository under the Axolotl Guild name. Players downloaded “Source Code.zip” from a release, which held a folder of client mods and an .mrpack file. prop’s own verdict: “we use github to serve mod files”, “the most wrong way to use github”. 1 2 3 Each update was announced to the roles with a release link, such as “Modpack updated” for v0.1.2 on 25 September 2025. 4

Versioning

prop laid down a scheme: small mod additions were minor versions, while a major version was reserved for when Create itself updated, or Minecraft did. 5 6 7

What was in it

The mods seen in play include Create 6, Create: Garnished (nut trees, seed-oil biofuel), Farmer’s Delight, Terralith structures, Jade, Curios, Xaero’s waypoints, Simple Voice Chat, Distant Horizons and freecam. On 25 September kira asked for Distant Horizons and voice chat to be added to the client list. 8 prop also edited configs to disable Create’s “un-vanilla looking” copycat blocks. 9 By January 2026 the pack was paying off in advancements, as prop picked up “Welcome to Create: Garnished”. 10
