Axolotl SMP Season 3 was played on a seed nobody had planned. prop pinned it on 31 May 2024 as 8273052579893931433 1, and then could not stop being delighted. The random seed had handed the server a huge nether portal beside a fortress and a blaze spawner: “cant believe this was a random seed”. 2 Another find from the chat was an End portal that sat “perfectly west” of The Cherry Village. 3
The world came with a fence. Only a 3k by 3k square centred on 0 0 had been generated, and prop’s rule for the season was to settle inside it: “because that 3kx3k square already generated”. 4 5
Not everyone liked the size. At the end of June kira told prop “the world border is too small my guy” 6, and prop replied that he had been planning to make it 5k by 5k. 7 The expansion was tied to the 1.21 update, as mentioned in nYx Claims Cat Ear Mountain.
