Besides season news, the announcements channel carried the occasional safety notice. On 4 July 2022, kira warned that scanning a QR code from a suspicious message bypasses 2FA and hands over your Discord account.¹ On 9 December 2022, prop told everyone it was “time to uninstal TLauncher”.² On 8 June 2023 he announced that CurseForge had been compromised by malware (fractureiser),³ and on 16 June he reported the issue solved.⁴
