The wither skeleton farm was the joint project of prop and kira, and prop’s first wither skeleton farm built in survival 1. On 2021-09-23 k1R4 asked, “Can we collab?” 2. The site was a hard-to-reach Nether fortress at 964, 66, 366, where prop had died once on the way because of Kart 3 4.

The design came from an “instant wither skeleton farm” tutorial. It needed no spawn-proofing, so prop did “0%spawn proofing” and posted a warning to visitors to “FOLLOW THE PRESSURE PLATE” 5 6. He admitted he had tried four times before to build one with spawn-proofing, and that he and kira had already used the best spot in the server 7 8. By 09-25 the bedrock had been broken for fortress access and the skulls were rolling in. k1R4 had six, and prop reached the 11th within minutes 9 10 11.

It was awkward to run. The farm needed a player at the kill chamber and another player or a bot in the overworld to keep chunks loaded, and for a while nobody but prop knew how to start it 12 13. Even so, prop called it “op” on 2021-10-05 and was soon up to 21 skulls, enough for six max beacons around his builds 14 15 16. On 10-21 he and Suresh collected six more 17, and “we extended world border for wither skel farm lmao” 18. The farm also gave coal 19, and abi died there once on 11-13 after walking through its portal 20. k1R4 later found that no loader bot was needed after all 21, and after some afk time he reported “we have 32 skulls now” 22. By 11-15 prop had 51 23.
