Season 2 had a 6000-block world border, and the warm ocean that Emperor Sian and _eb (ntize) wanted for the Adventuring Time advancement and some coral fans lay beyond it. They asked kira to lift it.
Kira agreed, with a deadline. He gave them until 8pm, in his words “you have 30 mins” 1, and ran the console command to widen the border to 8000 2. Once both players were back within 3000 blocks, he set it back to where it had been, about half an hour later 3.
It was not a clean trip. _eb lost a stack of brain coral to lava, and the chat recorded his reaction:
