In July 2022, after prop shared a video of Create trains, kira made an offer: “if you guys wanna try this in creative over a weekend, I’ll host” 1. prop counted four interested players 2 and posted an announcement inviting everyone to a Sunday event “for messing around with the Create Mod on a creative mode world” 3.
The event ran on its own server rather than the main world. kira asked sign-ups to install Forge 1.18.2 plus two mods from the AxolotlShare Nextcloud, and gave event.ax.k1r4.dev as the address for “this event and future events” 4. On Saturday prop and Saitama sorted out the Forge client install 5, and prop tried out Create in a singleplayer test world, calling it one of the most well made mods he had seen.
On Sunday 17 July kira announced “yes its event time” 6, but the launch was rough. Emperor Sian got “unknown host” errors running Forge 1.18.2 7, and Saitama gave up with “imma join normal server then” 8. The chat suggests prop and kira themselves missed the session. It was meant to last only a day, and for most of the people who signed up it appears to have fizzled.
