The DiscordSRV Bridge (AxolotlChat)

The bot that mirrored game chat, deaths and advancements into Discord and let prop and kira run server commands with !console.

Curiosity ASMP S1 mod

AxolotlChat, the DiscordSRV bot, mirrored in-game chat, joins, deaths, advancements and “Server started!” notices into Discord 1. From the first weeks it advertised three commands: !online, !tps and the admin-only !console <command> 2.

!online

!online became a reflex for anyone wondering who was on. The server was “full” at five or six names 3, and the reply was often just a name or two 4

!console

Only prop and kira could run !console, and kira had more access to the real console 5. It was how they toggled the whitelist from Discord 6 and added newcomers 7. They also tested the voice chat mod this way 8, and spawned Carpet bots with !console player <name> spawn 9 (see Carpet Fake Players). In Season 2, kira set the world border from Discord 10, typos and the bot’s “Unknown or incomplete command” replies included 11.

The bridge also carried a faint suspicion: the lore readers noted it may have been exploited in the 2021 grief (see Aftermath of the 2021-10-27 Grief), though the chat does not settle it.
