Later Chat Bridges

The Minecraft-Discord bridges of the later seasons: DisFabric in S2, MC-Discord-Chat on Earth, and the console-relaying "ASMP Chat" bot in Limbo.

Every season needed a way for Discord to hear the game. In Axolotl SMP Season 2 the “[mc]” chat bridge was DisFabric, while the separate Axolotl bot was custom-made, as kira explained in July 2022. 1

By September 2023 the bridge was Xujiayao’s MC-Discord-Chat, which relayed advancements and deaths and let people run /info, /console and /whitelist from Discord. 2 Its bot posted update notices when MCDiscordChat became MC-Discord-Chat (2.2.0 to 2.2.1), and prop updated it on 2023-09-29. 3 4 In Limbo the “Axolotl Chat” bridge announced advancements such as Sweet Dreams. 5

The strangest bridge was the “ASMP Chat” bot in #axolotl-storm-console-log. It mirrored raw server console output, with logins, mod registry spam and Discord-bridged lines tagged [Discord]. 6 7 That log is the archive of the Axolotl Storm era, and it holds the commands from the Cracker's Wither Storm Mod.
