Late November 2021 brought a copper boom. On 25 November kira announced he had “decided to build a behemoth of a copper farm” 1. Within hours it worked (“poggers copper farm works”) 2, and the next day he had a full stack of oxidised copper blocks 3.
prop built his own, and the two farms ran with alt bots, a bot named “copperfarm” keeping kira’s going. Prop’s soon hogged the mob cap (“entire mobcap taken by copper farm”) 4, while kira measured his at only 160 copper in an hour 5.
By late December both had moved to snow golems. Prop’s used 24 chambers of three golems each, and kira’s had 18 golems 6. Players blamed the farms for lag, but kira insisted the server’s MSPT stayed at 20 to 21. His farm lived in kira's Ocean Monument Base, where it later got a beacon.
