On 2022-07-09, in Axolotl SMP Season 2, Emperor Sian took on a warden near the The First Ancient City. He shot it from far away with his bow and told the chat he had “killed the mfer” 1.
The news spread the next day. prop relayed it plainly: “sian killed one” 2. Then he explained why it counted for so much. The server’s datapack gave the warden a 100% drop rate for its head: “warden have 100% droprate” 3. The head was a trophy “to whoever killed one”, and prop said he was working on a way to get one himself.
Sian only learned of this when it was brought up. ntize offered him the head, and Sian answered, “Wait there is a warden head?” 4
Sian claimed the title in the server’s events channel: “the first and only warden kill as of now” 5. He posted a picture as proof.
For the moment, the head belonged to the one player who had earned it. The wider fight over the city is told in the Conquest of the Ancient City.
