The first event of Axolotl SMP Season 2 was a heist on the deep dark. prop said he knew where the ancient city was 1, but the group chose to wait for the weekend and collect wool to sneak past sculk 2. prop asked everyone to build a wool farm 3, and prop alone went through more than eighteen stacks, with a sixteen-sheep farm to feed it.
The expedition met at a tent camp on the mountain above the city (see Warden Camp) at around seven in the evening 4. Before going down, the party ate a cookie, which prop declared meant “we agree to not backstab sabotage each other in this adventure and will be allies” 5. His “research” put the city right under the mountain 6, and he was right. N_tize, Kart, Sian, Saitama (Akshay) and _eb all took part at some point.
It went about as well as such things go. Shriekers went off, and prop’s cry became the day’s slogan: “RUNNNNNNNNNNNN” 7, “ON THE WHITE WOOL” 8. Wardens came back again and again, once two at once. A freecam capture caught two of them in an awkward embrace. By the chat’s count, the city was about 98 percent cleared and looted, with disc fragments, Swift Sneak books and a sculk catalyst among the spoils 9. Sian eventually killed a Warden, and the last chest turned out to be a disappointment 10.
prop announced “The first event on ASMP S2 was a success!” 11, and the day set up the argument over who would own the site 12. Two days later prop had to cancel the planned dragon event, because Saitama had already killed the Ender Dragon 13. The place itself is described on The First Ancient City.
