A.R.A. and Antarctic Fried Chicken

Two running gags grew up around prop’s claim on the ice of ASMP Earth, where he led Antarctica.

Antarctic Fried Chicken. In late June 2023, after one of prop’s Antarctica posts, Mero asked “now lemme get that afc”, and then spelled it out: “antarctic fried chicken”. ^{1 2} The demand that followed, from Mero and nYx, was a single order: “open afc prop”. ³

A.R.A. In July GrimWatch noticed someone saying “ara”, with the line “My man said ara”. ⁴ kira answered “ara ara”. ⁵ Rather than let the joke go unclaimed, prop defined the acronym on the spot:

Antarctican Research Airport = A.R.A. ⁶

nYx, meanwhile, kept posting Genshin “ara ara” videos, as the chat tells it.
