Contraption Cave

In February 2023 prop announced he was “doing starting with some create mod stuff”. ¹ Within days his base had an auto mill (“putting it on the auto mill”) and a quarry hole he warned others not to jump into. ^{2 3}

The base lived in a mountain by spawn that turned out to be hollow. “this HUGE cave here is my base,” prop said. ⁴ It filled with Create machines: a windmill outside, water wheels, a mill, an auto miner, an elevator on a rope pulley, a gantry carriage, wheat, tree and wool farms, and a station for the first train. When Fili saw the windmill spinning, prop noted it was “the only build on the server”. ⁵ The nether portal at 6 66 27 got shared as “prop&kira base”. ⁶

In March it got a makeover. “i made the base look exceptionally different,” prop wrote on 22 March, ⁷ meaning a spruce-and-deepslate redesign with a stone floor. He explained the arrangement as he saw it: “first me and kira mutually agreed to make coop base”. ⁸ The steam engine for the entrance was left for kira to design. DeathHack127 and Mero later settled around it, see Contraption Cave Co-op.

The cave was where the Axolotl Train Network started. It is probably the same place as The Glorious Contraption Cave.
